Hospital reporting admission data to statutory authorities should be aware that some minor changes to data elements apply from July 1st 2020.
No changes to the process used to record admission data are required, only staff may need to be aware of new values available in the following reportable fields in Victoria.
VAED Contract Type: Addition of new contract type "BAB" added.
VAED Unit/Speciality: Addition of unit type "Stroke Unit"
There have been changes to layout and file formats for other states, but those changes do not result in any change to how you use CareRight.
