Send an IMC Claim

IMC Claims can be generated directly from an inpatient medical Invoice via the Claim button. The system will advise the user if the invoice is eligible for IMC Claim in the field Claim Information.

1. Click on the Claim Button
2. Click on Inpatient Medical Claim
3. Review the Claim consent and Declaration and Privacy Notice, Click/Update relevant Fields 

   1. Field	Description
      Alternate Address	If click this one, you can create an external patient address, filled with address line 1, 2, address locality and postcode
      Alternate Banking Details	Click this one and update the bank details if it is different from the bank details registered with Medicare.
      Health fund Payee ID	This field is only applicable if the Health Fund is BUPA.

4. Submit the claim,  CareRight will communicate with Medicare and  give you a green banner if the transfer status is a success.

This is the end of the process in Generating and Sending an IMC Claim, 

Medicare will provide the processing report in a day or couple of days and the Payment Report will be available at a later time.
