Invoice - Pay online

If there is patient consent to share by Email, and SMS  a secure time limited link can be sent requesting payment of an invoice.

  • If you wish for a patient to pay and they are physically present, you can provide them with a QR Code to scan in order to make payment.

Manage payments

1. View receipt

Successful stripe payments are visible in a patient account as a receipt. You will see a link to a corresponding Stripe Payment reference under transactions section of receipt.

  • Patient -> invoice & Credit -> Receipt -> show
  • Click the reference link of Stripe payment to view details recorded in stripe.
  • If patient wants receipt of transaction, you can provide this record.

2. Make a refund

Processing a Refund for a stripe payment is much the same as processing a Refund for a receipt. Remember, you must initiate the refund from CareRight in order for both systems to be in sync.

  • You must initiate the refund from CareRight in order for both systems to be in sync. 
  • After refund from CareRight you can view refund details in stripe by clicking reference link.
  • The stripe allows you to view all the payments consist of Succeeded, Refunded, Uncaptured, and Failed.


Important process considerations:

At this time, receipts are only issued automatically by stripe where a patient has provided an email address. For all other customers, your clinic must ensure they have a process in place.
