Coding and Grouping Setup

CareRight functionality allows for Coding and Grouping Admissions.

Key Requirements for this to occur:

1. Users have the following access:
   1. Can clinically code ATS Details, in addition to the following privileges:
   2. Can view ATS details (Admissions, Transfers, Separations).
   3. Can edit ATS details.
   4. Can delete ATS details.
   5. Can cancel ATS details (cancelling an Admission).
   6. Can edit Pre-admission details.
2. The following functions are restricted:
   1. When editing as admission the entire Diagnosis section and the entire "Procedures" section is not displayed unless the user has the "Can clinically code ATS details".
   2. When viewing an admission or episode diagnosis the "New", "Edit" & "Delete" buttons for diagnosis are only available if the user has the "Can clinically code ATS details".
   3. When viewing an admission or episode procedures the "New", "Edit" & "Delete" buttons for procedures are only available if the user has the "Can clinical code ATS details".
   4. The "Group" button is only visible if user has the "Can clinically code ATS details".
   5. Coding related fields are still visible, this permission only affects editing.
3. Diagnosis & Procedure Codes need to be loaded
   1. Refer to Diagnosis Codes

   1. Registration & License with 3M.
   2. Certificates have been loaded - refer to Grouper Settings
