Patient Account Overview

Overview

Patient Accounts are divided to different accounts who are responsible for paying the invoice. The person responsible for the payment is called: Guarantor.

By default, CareRight has 6 Patient Accounts:

  1. Private - Used for Patient Interactive Claims (PCI). Up to 5 Private Accounts can be configured - see Edit Private Accounts.  Private Account Types can be used when Providers have different rates for different situation/ different classes of Patients i.e. Concession Rates, Military personal etc
  2. Workers Compensation -
  3. Legal - 
  4. Medicare - Account used for Medicare Bulk Billing Services
  5. DVA - 
  6. Health Fund - Account used for claiming against private health funds , such as In Patient Medical Claims (IMC) In Hospital Claim (IHC)
