Medical Tests

In this area, the different types of medical tests can be configured for Pathology and Radiology ( i.e. Full Blood Test / CT Scan). The Medical Tests set up in this section will then appear in the Pathology & Radiology requests.

To create a new Medical Test

1. Click Administration.
2. Select Correspondence.
3. Select Medical Tests.
4. Existing Medical Tests will display, in the blue banner two options are available:
   1. Pathology
   2. Radiology
5. Select New button, the add new screen will display.
6. Enter a code.
7. Enter Description.
8. Specimen (this would be the typical type needed).
9. Add any Instructions.
10. Ensure you tick Enabled so that it appears in the Radiology/Pathology area.
11. Select Medical Test button.
