The Text Editor uses the spell check function that is built in to the web browser. It has been tested under the latest releases of the following browsers:
- Chrome
- Firefox
- Internet Explorer
Behaviour varies slightly depending on the browser that you use. However, in general, the following is true:
- Incorrect spellings are generally indicated by a red line underneath the word in question
- Right clicking on the word allows you to:
- select an alternative spelling of the word
- add it to your browser's dictionary
- ask Google for suggestions (Chrome)
