Assistant Billing Overview

CareRight handles Assistance Billing in two different scenario

Billing the Medical Provider in CareRight as the Assistant Surgeon - The medical provider in CareRight is assisted by a primary surgeon.
Billing the Medical Provider in CareRight for the Assistance - The medical Provider in CareRight is the Primary Surgeon and they are billing for their own items as well as for assistant items.

Notes :

Assistant Billing can be done for all different account types is CareRight, Including Medicare, Health Fund etc..
The account provider Should be a Medical Provider, not Hospital Provider
Service Location should be an Inpatient Service Location.
