About this Release

In each release there may be new features and functions that require one or all of the following:

· Purchase of a module to access

· User Training

· Specific process to be used to ensure the correct functioning

Please read the release notes and the corresponding manual pages to ensure that you understand the changes being made, what module they are associated with, and how they impact your business processes.

Enhancements

My Health Record > Patient Merge > Close related HI Alerts

Where a HI Service Alert is present for duplicated patient records, now when patients are merged these will automatically close off where that is the primary issue. Where duplication and other issues are present, the Alert must be resolved seperately.

When prescribing, in some scenarios clinicians may wish to prescribe a specific drug outside of the streamline authority situations.

New Permission > Technical Support

Where your organisation has an internal technical support team, with appropriate change management and similar skills; we're gradually making available areas of the system previously requiring Clintel Support.

This will allow greater access, visibility and problem resolution capabilities for organisations.

Note, this should be only made available to authorised, appropriately trained users within your organisation. Misuse of functionality available here may be able to cause unplanned outages, data loss or other high risk activities.

Pathology & Radiology Results > Change to sort order, Completed & Followup Tabs

Pathology & Radiology results show Abnormal results prominently, to ensure they are followed up for patient safety. Now the Complete and Follow tabs change this behaviour to sort by most recent; as action has already been taken.
