Model your common Transportation charges with an Item Type of HCP Transportation.
This will allow you to raise specific invoices for costs incurred during an admission.
Recording details of Transport
Where you need to record specific details of patient transportation either to or from your location, it is possible to record this directly on the Admission.
This in turn populates into the IHC Claim.
Note that you need to ensure the Date and Time for the Transport segment matches up with the Service Date on the item on the invoice, where multiple transportation claims are made.
Note that Transport information will not be included if there is no corresponding item invoiced. If you need to submit transportation details with no charge, we recommend billing a $0 item.
