There are now 3 pages where you can configure the code sets. These are:
- Admin → Admission → Episode Diagnosis Codes (ICD.D only)
- Admin → Admission → Episode Procedure Codes (ICD.P only)
- Admin → Patients → Diagnosis Codes (GEN or ICD.D only - defaults to global setting Diagnosis CodeType)
Configure ICD.D codes (ICD. Disease)
Codes in this code set are available when selecting diagnosis codes on Admission, Episode and Cancer Notification records.
- Click Administration from the top right corner of the CareRight screen.
- Select Admissions from the left side menu.
- Select Episode Diagnosis Codes sub-menu item.
- The Episode diagnosis codes display with the following values:

Description | This is the description of the Diagnosis code | Arthritis in Lyme disease, shoulder region (A69.2+) |
Valid Data Range | This is the period which the code is valid for | 01/07/1998 --> |
Remove (Button) | This button allows you to remove a value |
To Import a code /codeset
- Enter a code into the blank field (e.g., M02.17 or A00.* — you can use * as a wildcard).
- Leave the value IMPORT.
- Select the Go button.
To Remove a code /codeset
- Enter a code into the blank field (e.g., M02.17 or A00.* — you can use * as a wildcard).
- Leave the value REMOVE.
- Select the Go button.
