The concept of Provider and Medical Provider are different on the basis of available roles and access in CareRight.
A provider can / have access to
- Statutory Reporting
- Calendar Sessions
- Cases
- Secure Messaging
Medical Provider can / have access to
- Statutory Reporting
- Calendar
- Cases
- Secure Messaging
- Medical Provider Details (Rate Details, service Location, Accounting details etc..)
- Prescribing information
Tip: If you are configuring medical providers and using Medicare, either set up a PRODA account or find a form to update your details with Services Australia as you complete this section.
Notes:
- Only a system admin user can add a new Provider or medical provider. See Add a new Medical Provider in System admin Guide
- Both provider and medical provider can have user accounts in CareRight.
- Creating a provider Or medical provider in CareRight will add a staff member to the system.
