Overview
Service Locations are places where services are performed and billed against a specific provider number allocated to a Location.
Medicare requirement to reflect different locations for Medicare billing purposes. Each location can have one or more Service Locations. To be able to invoice there must be at least one service location.
Service Locations to be selected under specific Location and the default treatment type can be
- Rooms - All the rooms can be considered as outpatient service locations
- Outpatient - It means outpatient service locations
- Inpatient - It means inpatient service locations
- Procedure Centre - All the Procedure Centre can be considered as inpatient service location.
A non-admin user of CareRight has no permissions to add Service Locations. See Service Locations in the System admin guide for all information on how to manage the Service Locations.
