Ensure Patient Can Receive SMS Messages

As part of CareRight's Programs feature, we now support the sending of SMS messages to patients who have enroled in program schedules. Before attempting to use this feature, ensure that you have patient consent and update the patient's profile accordingly in CareRight. Please see Editing a Patient's Details to learn more.


Bulk Send SMS Messages to Program Enrolees

From the Dashboard, select Cases & Progs and then click All Progs

Click Manage for a program schedule.

In the Active Enrolments panel, select one or more patients by ticking the checkbox(es) on the left side of the panel. To select all enrolees, tick the topmost checkbox.

Next, click SMS.

The Send SMS to the selected patience panel appears.

Select a Location, From Template, and enter a Message, as needed, Be sure to specify when you'd like to send the message using the Send At fields.

The panel will notify you whether or not each selected patient is eligible to receive SMS messages. In the example below, Miss Maggie Carlson is eligible while Mr. Brenden Jack is not (e.g., mobile number may be missing and/or consent in patient profile is not selected).

When ready to send, click Send.
