Overview
Telehealth Item Codes
The following MBS item codes will be supported; 99, 112, 149, 288, 389, 2820, 3015, 6016, 13210, 16399 and 17609. When these items are added to an invoice the fee calculation will be based on 50% of the associated item. The rebate will be calculated as 85% of this derived fee.

Rate Definition Configuration for Telehealth Billing
The rate definition has a configuration option called "Telehealth Method". This has a selection of the following available choices:
- MBS
- MBS Rebate
- Associated Fee
This selection sets the calculation method used for final fee calculation for Telehealth items. When calculating the final fee for a Telehealth item the following applies:
- MBS - If the MBS method is selected then the percentage entered for the rate definition shall be applied to the calculated Telehealth MBS 100% rate to determine the charged fee for the item.
- MBS Rebate - If the MBS Rebate method is selected then the percentage entered for the rate definition shall be applied to the calculated Telehealth MBS Rebate rate to determine the charged fee for the item.
- Associated Fee - If the Associated Fee method is selected then the percentage entered for the rate definition shall be applied to the fee charged on the associated item to determine the charged fee for the item. Existing rate definitions and new rate definitions shall default to MBS Rebate as the Telehealth Method value.
Item Price Configuration
If the item being edited is a Telehealth item then the pricing display needs to reflect the different rate definition Telehealth Method.
