About this Release

In each release there may be new features and functions that require one or all of the following:

Major Features

Search appointments by Calendar Session Type

Users can now search for appointments by Calendar Session Type

Next available appointments

We've merged the 'Advanced' functionality into Next Available Appointments, allowing you to search across All Providers

Alert restrictions 

In certain circumstances, some Patients might not be appropriate attend certain Locations, see particular Providers, or be in the same vicinity as Other Patients.

When an Alert is created and a Provider or Location is specified, users will be blocked from creating an appointment and referred to the patient record.

Enhancements

Search appointment availability for different locations

For customers working in a centralized manner, CareRight now allows you to search for the most appropriate location by distance.

Link to Admission record from Line item

CareRight now provides links directly to the related admission from the invoice line item.

Due date in pathology request forms

The system now renders the Due Date, in addition to the Request Date.

More fields to search by for patients

Patients > Advanced Search > Search by Address, Phone

We've provided more fields to search by for patients

Ability to archive unsent correspondence from Outbox

Where messages have an issue that is not resolvable, users can now choose to 'archive' them to remove them from the outbox view

Edit start date for patient notices

Patients > Notices

You can now edit the start date of a patient's notices.

Enhancement to disable appointment types in calendar sessions

System Administration > Appointment Types > Disable appointment types

Previously, if an appointment type had been used it was not possible to disable it within the system.

System Administrators now have the ability to disable appointment types; so that future appointments do not use an outdated appointment type.

Compact Line Items in  Invoices

Some Guarantors, such as work cover, request printed invoices for multiple-day stays in a more compact form than the typical output.

In the limited circumstances this applies, there is now a new system permission, "Can compact line items when creating invoices"

Warning: Please ensure your use case for this feature is very clear, incorrect use may result in Medicare claims being considered invalid / rejected. As a result; this is disabled by default.
