About this Release

In each release there may be new features and functions that require one or all of the following:

· Purchase of a module to access

· User Training

· Specific process to be used to ensure the correct functioning

Please read the release notes and the corresponding manual pages to ensure that you understand the changes being made, what module they are associated with, and how they impact your business processes.

Major Features

TYRO Payment Terminal Integration

In this release, CareRight is trialing experimental support for TYRO terminals. Users are able to set up one or more terminals at the Service Location level; request a payment amount, take payments, & perform refunds.

At a later stage, expanded support for Allied Health will be rolled out.

SAML2 Authentication

CareRight now supports SAML 2 authentication, allowing users to authenticate against an identity provider.

Improved LDAP Authentication

Released in 6.74.3, CareRight now supports more nuanced LDAP authentication.

Data Correction - Timestamps on Statements

Prior to upgrading; make sure that "Global Settings > Default Timezone" is set.

Multi-state customers should use the most common zone or head-office equivalent.

Enhancements

View a specific batch claim - Paid amount

Accounting > Locations > Batch Claims > View a specific batch claim

We now show Paid Amount near the invoice total.

Create a batch claim for specific provider

Users can now select to just create a batch claim for specific providers. By default, all are selected.

Bulk Send Medicare Batches for selected medical provider

Users can now raise Batches for specific Medical Providers at any given time to send to Medicare via CareRight (Eclipse). 

Enhanced feature to Bulk Send Medicare Batches for your selected medical providers.

Additional functionality for notes to be added against each Raised Batches.

Reallocation of Medicare batch payments

Reconciliation > Batch Payments > Medicare Batch Payment Reports > Batch Claims

Batch Payments can now be reallocated, in a similar fashion to ERA payments.

Aliases on the patient banner

View Patient > Aliases now display

Table heading stays on screen scrolling

Table Headings > Now stay on screen when scrolling

Printing templates hide non-published templates

System Administration > Correspondence > Custom Templates now show active by default

Alerts, Notices, and Allergies are exposed to Datasets reporting 

Users can now build datasets that include Patient Alerts, Notices, Allergies.

As an example Dataset to see currently admitted/enrolled patients with alerts:

Field Validations

System Administration > Form validation

Over the coming releases, system administrator users will notice improved validations in many areas - letting you know if you've missed a required field or formatting is wrong as soon as you try to submit.

We will eventually expand this to all areas of the system.

Duration and attendance note for program sessions

We now show attendance notes and duration for patient attendance.

Layout

We've made some minor design adjustments, to more effectively use screen real estate on modern desktops.

Full-Width Image Upload for assessment element

To better cater for mobile and other devices, we've introduced a Full-Width Image Upload assessment element.

Existing assessments will not change, but users are encouraged to migrate.
