Add a non-MIMS New Medication 

From Patient Record:

1. In the Main Menu, click Medications.
   1. The Medications summary screen will display.
2. Select the New button in Current Medications (M-New - For MIMS enabled clients).
3. In the Search field, type in the Trade Name and Generic Name.
   1. The search results will display,  you can scroll through this list.
4. Select the appropriate results (it will be highlighted in Red).
5. Click the Select button.
   1. The Select Route screen will display
6. Enter the type In the Route search field and select the Route.
   1. Note: If a match doesn't exist, click Create New Route.
7. Select the instruction if it exists, otherwise, add a new instruction (enter Instruction and click Create).
   1. Note: The Route and Instructions can be left blank (by choosing Unknown Route) if the information is not available.

Medications History

The medication history of your patient can be viewed on this screen. To view dates, names and instructions of medications that are no longer current, choose the Show option in the appropriate line.
