The Cancer Site Rule Sets screen is used to define which diagnoses are used to pre-fill cancer notifications as primary sites. By default, values C00 - D48 are assigned to Primary. This can be changed via the Edit functionality.
Each rule set includes a Bulk option, which controls the behaviour of the Create Cancer Notification button when there are no cancer notifications against the admission.
Bulk settings:
- On setting: The button will launch a screen that enables the user to create as many cancer notifications as there are primary sites (default for QLDCNR); and,
- Off setting: The button will launch a screen that enables the user to create a single cancer notification (default for all other reporting bodies).
Change in Primary Site Range (v6.66 Update)
Per ICD-10-CM codes (Neoplasms), the range used for the primary site range has changed from C00-D99 to C00-D48.
