About this Release

In each release there may be new features and functions that require one or all of the following:

· Purchase of a module to access

· User Training

· Specific process to be used to ensure the correct functioning

Please read the release notes and the corresponding manual pages to ensure that you understand the changes being made, what module they are associated with, and how they impact your business processes.

Major Features

Correspondence: Ability to send Contact Letters via Email (without secure messaging)

Contact Letters can now be sent via a secure email server, where the practitioner has a valid email address, the system will now present Email delivery options.

Un-invoiced Medical Admissions

CareRight now distinguishes between Uninvoiced Hospital Admissions and Uninvoiced Medical Admissions in separate tabs

   System administrators can configure certain admission categories to flag that they relate to the Medical Invoicing process.

Invoice and Line Item Extra Custom Fields 

On Invoices and Line Items, up to 4 custom fields (with custom select entries) can be labeled and enabled and to capture appropriate information.

Enhancements

Improved sorting of  Printing Templates

All the printing templates can now be sorted  by

• Default Template
• Provider
• Location
• Service Location
• If they are Published or not

Receipts: Ability to make Deposit Notes Mandatory

Receipt notes now can be a mandatory field if it is enabled in the global settings

When enabled, the Receipt Note field is marked as Mandatory.

Note: This feature is considered experimental and is subject to further development.

Online Eligibility Check (OEC) print out includes additional fields

There are now additional fields on the OEC report

• Response code (Fund Explanation)
• Pre Existing Condition (from user entry before the claim was sent)
• Compensation Claim (from user entry before the claim was sent)
• Accident Date (from user entry before the claim was sent)
• Accident Indicator (from user entry before the claim was sent - if the user added accident date)

Admissions: Option to copy fields from a previous admission

Admissions discharged ready for coding has the functionality to copy fields either from the previous admission or select from one of the pr3evious admission.

The following fields are now included in the list of fields that can be copied.

• Extra Code 1 (Health Fund)

We have removed items that should not be generally copied, ie:

• Current Episode
• Date Entered
• Episode End

Allow forward dating of the case start date

Case start date can now be forward-dated if required.     

Also, a case start date can now be chosen if required (it was defaulting to the date of case creation before)

Programs - Allow modification of enrolment date  and  Schedule to print the session description

Program enrolment start date can now be chosen on Editing an existing enrolment or by the time of enrolment.

Also, the schedule description is available on the edit screen.

Dataset Field : Account status exposed to Dataset reporting

Account status is now available in dataset reporting

Dataset field: Ledger now contains receipt number & date

Line allocation logs  table can now be joined to Receipts 

Line allocation logs  table can now be joined to Refunds

Trigger API: Ability to find Referrals when building an Invoice

Billing wizards are now capable of applying different referral conditions to the invoices vis trigger APIs.
