Rates Definition Overview

Overview

Rate Definition is that the admin define the rate in its information, guarantors and region prices.

You can customize each listed item price to associate with rate definition.

Rate definition is always linked with rate table, and one rate definition can be selected more than on rate table.

Notice

Before creating a rate table, you must have created a rate definition.

Access the overview screen of rate definition

  1. Select Administration.
  2. Select Accounting menu item.
  3. Select Rate Definition sub menu item. 
    1. The Rate Definition screen will display the established Rate Definitions in CareRight. As an overview it will display the following values:

IndexThe index value will auto-populate to next item in list1
NameThis is the Rate NameMBS 100%
Effective DateThis the date the rate definition is effective01/11/2015
Download DateThis will auto update once the download is complete22/12/2015
OverrideThis indicates if the rate definition can be used for rate overrides during Private Account invoicing.

Please Note: There  is not a maximum limit to the number Rate Definitions which can be entered.
