- To view an image, click on the thumbnail in the Image Gallery.
- This launches the Image Comparison screen.
- All images are displayed on the left hand side and a large preview of the image is on the right hand side.
- Clicking the left hand image, loads the image into the right hand pane.
- From the right hand side, there is a row of buttons at the bottom of the screen.
- These buttons allow you to perform actions on the selected image:
Action | Description |

Rotate | Images taken by cameras and phones typically have meta date stored within them. This data is used by CareRight to interpret which way the image should be displayed. CareRight will try to display the image correctly if this data is present. You can manually override this automatic rotation behaviour. The following options are available in the pick list: •Auto - CareRight uses the data within the picture to rotate it •None - No rotation (ignores image meta data) •90 - Rotate 90 degrees clockwise (ignores image meta data) •180 - Rotate 180 degrees clockwise (ignores image meta data) •270 - Rotate 270 degrees clockwise (ignores image meta data)
Please note: Once you have drawn on an image, you can no longer rotate it. |
Download | Download the original image file |
Open | Open the original image file |
Edit | Open the Edit screen to change image details - Category, comment and an additional field Taken At time |
Draw | Open the drawing tool with this image loaded |
Exit | Go back to the Image Gallery |
Delete | Delete this image. The image is then moved to the Deleted tab and can be undeleted if required. |
To change the image selected, click on the image on the left hand side.

Thank you for your question Kamala. To view an image, you can click 'open'. This opens the image on its' original size. You can also zoom in and out using your windows control - Ctrl and mouse scroll.

I was looking for guidance on how to view an image with full-screen (or even, most-screen) view.
