CareRight has the functionality to integrate with the MIMS listing for the purpose of writing prescriptions and adding allergies. To utilise the integration MIMS & CareRight you need an active account / license with MIMS directly. Once you have an active license MIMS can be set up in CareRight.
To set up MIMS
- Access CR Administration.
- Select Medications from menu.
- Select MIMS sub menu item.
- The MIMS screen license screen will display.
- Complete remaining fields based on table below.
- Clintel will deploy the MIMS import to CareRight.
- This data is updated on a monthly basis by Clintel
- Next Steps: Add users to MIMS license (see below).

To add users to MIMS
- Access CR Administration.
- Select Medications from menu.
- Select MIMS sub menu item.
- The MIMS screen license screen will display.
- Select the Edit button.
- A list of users will display, select the checkbox next to each user who requires MIMS
- Select the Close button.
Additional MIMS Set up (dependencies)
Administration>Users& Groups> Group Permissions - Ensure all medical providers who will be prescribing have appropriate MIMS permissions ticked - Refer to Groups
- Administration>Providers - "Promote all providers to medical providers & Add Prescriber numbers"
- Administration > Medications > Prescription instructions - add prescription instructions Refer to Prescription Instructions
- Admin>Medications - Click 'Edit' button and then mark the checkbox against those users that will be given MIMS access
