View Medications

The Medications module allows you to access information about a patient's Medications History as well as raising new prescriptions.

1. Search for a patient.
2. Click Show.
3. In the Main Menu, click Medications.
4. The Medications screen will display. It has two sections:
   1. Current Medications (this data view can be re-sorted by Trade Name & Start date)
   2. Medications History (this data view can be re-sorted by Trade Name & Start date)
5. From this screen you can:
   1. Review Medications &Previous Prescriptions (select Tabs from the banner)
6. It also displays the following 4 buttons:
   1. M-Browse (MIMS Browse – if enabled)
   2. N Mims Prescription(if enabled)
   3. New Prescription
   4. M-New (Medications)
7. For Current Medications you can:
   1. Show:  You can view Trade Name, Generic Name, Route, Instructions, Recorded time and date.
   2. Update Instructions:   
   3. Expire
   4. Access MIMS data (full or Abbreviated)
8. You can also view the patient Medications History.
